Sunday, February 19, 2006 Geocache 2006 The kids and I have cabin fever and were wondering what we could possibly do today. We thought about trying to find the Sandia Man Cave, but we would like Lew to go with us on that one. This is a special place because they found the oldest caveman remains in New Mexico there! I called my neighbors to try and stir up some fun (they hike also) and they suggested we go to the Travertine Falls, this is a good hike and when you get there, there is a frozen waterfall with a big cave underneath the overhang!! Woohoo!! There are also a few places to find a Geocache and needless to say, I have already downloaded the coordinates in the GPS!! I leave whistles, you know, hence the name Whistler71. Will try to get pics!!
