Tuesday, September 13, 2005 Skewl Day.. part 1 Would like to thank RLB for the encouraging words! Today was my first day and already tough, I am going for medical coding, billing, and transcription and I had 8 pages of homework to do... The people in my class are cool and very experienced in the medical field, which leaves me behind a bit. My instructor is also pretty cool as she asked me if I had a Marlboro Red at first break! Damn.. She did the med. records for years before she became a teacher and she mentioned that it is a very stressful occupation, but your reap good pay and benefits. What an incentive! It is going to be a long road ahead...
