Saturday, November 12, 2005 Things Kids Say...  I was sitting at the table this morning having a nice cup of coffee and heard my 6 year old say something really surprising. See, this kid is a pure turd, really. He gets in trouble in school, on the bus, and has been called satan on a number of occasions yet is very interested in politics, science, and so forth. He looks at his father, who is a Desert Storm veteran and says, "November 11, 2005 was Veteran's Day, all of the wars around the world stopped and they came back to their homes where they were living and were able to see their families". I cannot believe he came up with this! I grabbed him and gave him a big hug and kiss. See, I believe that cuteness is a child's only survival skill. I think there might be hope for him after all...
